Analog/Digital – Can you see the difference?

Today, cinema is digital: 95 percent of all movie theatres worldwide are equipped with digital projection, and, to an overwhelmingly high degree, the films are shot with digital cameras. A little over ten years ago, it was almost like the opposite. But are we still capable of telling the difference between analog and digital recordings? – In this presentation, you can test yourself. For the purpose of research, the short film PARACHUTES that was recorded simultaneously with an analog and digital camera. The projection switches back and forth between the analog and digital version and you are challenged to tell the difference.
